Teaching points
- The plate with the stars is the night symbol. It shows the maximum speed allowed at night.
- The correct answer is going to be option C. No vehicle may stop in this area for any reason, including loading or unloading. Now, remember, just because the sign is going to have the icon of hatchback, it doesn't mean that the sign is only going to be for people driving hatchbacks. That's a very common mistake that people make in the actual test.
- This is going to be a warning sign and a regulatory sign combo, right? So, the top half will show the maximum speed, and the bottom half is going to warn you of visibility hazards. So, option C would be correct. You must reduce your speed to 60 km/h because poor visibility conditions are expected or present.
- When you see a road sign like this that's going to combine a speed restriction with a distance warning, it means that the restricted speed, which is 60 km/h, that must be observed for the full distance shown, which is going to be 6 km. Therefore, option C would be the correct answer. You must maintain the indicated speed limit for the entire 6-km stretch of winding road.
- If you're taking a look at the sign, obviously the sign on top is going to be the maximum speed that you are allowed to go, right? And that's going to be 100 km/h. And the sign below that is obviously going to be an icon of night time. So, from sunset to sunrise, because you can see there's a circle that's going to represent the moon, and we can see stars. So, this sign is telling us that at night you are not allowed to drive more than 100 km/h. Therefore, option C is going to be the correct answer.
- The correct answer would be option C because remember a minimum speed limit sign is going to indicate the slowest speed at which, obviously, a vehicle must travel. And in this case, a light motor vehicle. And only option C is going to give us that choice.
- The correct answer would be option C, right? Because the red line going through is going to prohibit light motor vehicles. And the sign below that is going to further tell you that light motor vehicles are going to be prohibited for the next 5 km.
- Remember this sign, it does not always require a full stop. But, you have to give the right of way to pedestrians that are already going to be crossing or intending to cross. Therefore, option C would be correct.
- Taking a look at the sign, we're going to see two black arrows, right? And each arrow is going to represent a lane. Now, the lane on the right is going to have a minimum speed limit sign. And that minimum speed limit is going to be 50 km/h. And the sign below that says for 6 km. That means that you have to drive at a minimum speed of 50 km/h for the next 6 km. Therefore, option C would be correct.
- Because the road sign above has a red line going through it, that means that U-turn is going to be prohibited. And the road sign below that is going to give you further context. Obviously, the road sign at the bottom is going to represent the night time. Therefore, option C is going to be correct. You are not allowed to perform a U-turn during night time.
- This temporary road sign is going to be combined with a lane indicator, right? And that restriction is only going to apply to a specific lane. Remember, this is not going to be a maximum speed limit, nor is it going to apply to all lanes. Therefore, option C is going to be correct.
