Unlike the SRD grant, the Older Persons, Disability, and Child grants are paid on fixed dates each month. Older Persons Grants are paid first, then Disability Grants, then Children's Grants.
November dates are changing. Wednesday 4 November 2026 is Election Day (a public holiday), which clashes with the planned Disability Grant day. SASSA says it will announce new November dates after consulting stakeholders, and that every eligible beneficiary will still be paid. The November dates below are the original plan and may move.

You do not need to collect your money on the first day. It stays in your account until you take it out.
A 4th payment day each month is set aside for beneficiaries flagged for a review or a face scan. If you are flagged, you must visit a local office with your documents to clear your status.
If you miss collecting your grant for 3 months in a row, it can be suspended. You then have 90 days to visit a local office with your ID to restore it — you will still get your back-pay. If you wait longer, or the grant lapses for another reason (like the child turning 18), you must apply again from the start.
